Piyush is a trained dancer and he learned to dance at Trance Dance Academy by Amit Dubey sir. He participates in local dance competitions or shows at Jammu.
In 2009, Piyush auditioned for the dance show Boogie Woogie. After that, he participated in the show Chak Dhoom Dhoom in 2010. He was the first runner-up at the show.
