The Kanguva movie will release in early 2024 in 3d. It is Suriya’s 42nd movie and the makers decided to release this movie in 10 languages. Kanguva is a Tamil word that means a man with the power of fire or fiery energy.
Suriya and Disha Patani are in the movie’s lead roles along with other casts, including names like Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Anand Raj, etc.
Adi Narayana is the writer of the story of the movie. It is a fictional story that is set up in the past in an unreal world. It is in saying that Surya is going to play 5 roles in the movie himself.
Kanguva movie is made under the direction of Siva. His full name is Siva Kumar Jaya Kumar also known as Siruthai Siva and his father Jaya Kumar was also a film director. Siva directed numerous movies in Tamil & Telugu languages including movies like Vedalam, Vivegam, Viswasam, Annaatthe, etc.
Originally the movie was titled Suriya 39 in 2019 because it was going to be the 39th movie of Suriya in a lead role but later it was postponed. After that, it was titled Suriya 42 which is now called Kanguva.
I think it is the first Indian movie that will release in the English language along with other regional languages of India because I first time watched an English glimpse of an Indian movie. It can be a big hit worldwide as Suriya is well known for his versatility and always did movies with unique concepts like Jai Bhim, Sorarai Pottru, 24, Singam, etc.
The full name of the movie is Kanguva – A Mighty Valiant Saga. K. E. Gnanavel Raja, V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Parmod Uppalapati are the producers of the movie. Kanguva movie will be released under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations.

Kanguva movie’s story is set in an imaginary world, it is a fictional story and has nothing to do with history. Kanguva is a Tamil word that means a man with the power of fire or fiery energy.
As per the IMDB, it is the story of the warrior who died in 1678 due to disease and at present a girl is doing research on the disease which killed the warrior in 1678.
The girl who is doing the research can be Disha Patani because there is nothing shown about her character in the movie. The movie can be run in the past and present together on screen.

Kanguva Movie Budget
As per reports, the budget of the movie is said to be approximately 350 crores. It is said that it 3 times higher than Suriya’s previous big-budget movie. The makers also decided to expend Rs 100 crore on the promotion of the movie. 1Indiatimes
