Kritika was born on 25 October 1988 in Barelli, Uttar Pradesh. Her father’s name is Ravi Kamra, and he is a dentist. Her mother’s name is Kumkum Kamra, she is a nutritionist and teacher.
She also has a sibling named Rahul Kamra. She completed her basic education at Delhi Public School, New Delhi and later she joined the National Institute of Fashion Technology but dropped out because she was selected for the show Yahaan Ke Hum Sikander.

Kritika started her career with the show Yahaan Ke Hum Sikander in 2007. She became famous after her role in the Kitni Mohabbat Hai serial that aired on Imagine TV.
After that, she did several serials like Pyaar Ka Bandhan, Ganga Ki Dheej, Prem Ki Paheli – Chandrakanta, etc. She also participated in Zara Nachke Dikha season 2 in 2010 and Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa in 2014.
