Alyssa Nakken is a Baseball coach based out of America for the San Francisco Giants. She is best known as the first female coach for Major League Baseball. She is currently being interviewed for the manager role at Giants. It is the first ever in the history of MLB that a female be interviewed for the post of manager.
Alyssa Nakken originally belonged to Woodland, California. She has been in athletics for a long time, in her school she used to play Volleyball, Baseball, and Softball.
Alyssa joined the Giants in 2014 as an Intern. The next year she got her master’s degree in sports management from the University of San Francisco. She was working as CIO for the team when she was finally promoted to MLB coaching staff in 2020. Nakken’s assistant coach role made her the first female coach in MLB history.

Alyssa started her career as an intern at Giants in 2014. After six years in 2020, Gabe Kapler appointed her as an assistant coach. Kapler’s term ended on September 29. After which Nakken gave an interview for a managerial post.
Alyssa Nakken the assistant coach for MLB Giants, became the first woman to be the first woman interviewed for the manager post at MLB. She is the first woman to coach MLB and now can be the first female manager for the Giants.
Alyssa Nakken’s Husband
Robert Abel Nakken is the husband of Alyssa Nakken. They married in 2021 and he calls himself the second-best coach in his house as he is not in the MLB. They both have plans for the baby now. Robert Abel runs his own Baseball coaching school named San Francisco CRABS (Coach Robert Abel Baseball School).
