Chandan Prabhakar is an Indian stand-up comedian who appears in The Kapil Sharma Show. Chandan and Kapil Sharma are childhood friends and he is with him from the show Comedy Nights with Kapil.
He is a mechanical engineer but after appearing in the show The Great Indian Laughter Challange season 3 and being the first runner-up. Chandan made his debut in films with the Hindi movie ‘Bhavnao Ko Samjo’. He turned into a full-time comedian. He appeared in Punjabi movies Power Cut, Disco Singh, and Judge Singh LLB.
He is famous for his roles or characters like Harpal Singh Hawaldar, Jhanda Singh, Raju, and Chandu.
Chandan was born on 29 September 1981 in Amritsar. He completed his schooling at Shri Ram Ashram Senior Secondary School, Amritsar. Chandu completed his graduation from the Hindu College.
He produced his own show Laughter Da Master in the past which aired on ETC Punjabi. Chandan is a creative painter and used to exhibit his paintings in foreign countries.
Chandu is popular outside India also and he does a lot of shows in the USA, Canada, Australia, Dubai, and the UK with Kapil Sharma and the entire team.
