Anmol and Amrita started dating each other after Amrita did an episode on Show Purani Jeans on Kishore Kumar. Their relationship turned into marriage secretly on 15 May 2014 in Mumbai that they revealed on their show Couple of Things – Amrita Rao | RJ Anmol.
The exciting thing is that Anmol proposed to Amrita on his Show live when he get to know that she is hearing it. Amrita is a Bollywood actress while Anmol is just a radio jockey and it is a unique match.

Anmol started her career as RJ and his show Purani Jeans became popular in less time. In the show Purani Jeans he used to play classical songs. This show gave him a recognition but also gather listeners for Radio Mirchi.
He met his love Amrita on the show. Amrita Rao wants to do something special on Kishore Kumar’s birthday on the Purani Jeans show. So she connet Anmol as she already knew him due to his interview with him previously.
At the start of his career, he requested BMC to declare a road by the name of Mohd. Rafi in Mumbai. Anmol did campaign for this and due to his effort road, no 16 of Bandra is renamed as Mohd. Rafi Marg.
