Ram Setu Film Plot
It is the story of Adam’s Bridge or Ram Setu which links Rameshwaram Island on the south-eastern coast of Tamilnadu to Mannar Island on the north-western coast of Sri Lanka. This bridge is 48 km long and it could be passed on foot until the 15th century when it was broken by a cyclone in 1480 as per Ramanathaswamy temple records.
As per Indian Mythology, this bridge was made by Lord Rama constructed the bridge with the help of ape-men to rescue his wife from Raksash Raavan who is the king of Sri Lanka.
In the movie, Akshay Kumar as an archeologist explores the real truth behind the Setu.

The shooting of the movie begins in Mumbai and was later shot at the location of Ooty and Damn Deu. The shooting of the movie was also done in Ayodhya City, India.
