Varisu is an upcoming south Indian movie that will release on the occasion of Pongal 2023 on 13 January 2023. It is an action-packed movie including love and family emotions.
It is Vijay’s 66th film in the lead role and the next movie after the Beast movie which was released on 13 April 2022.
As per Wikipedia reports, the budget for the movie is around rs 200 crore. The movie is made under the direction of Vamshi Paidipally. Vamshi also wrote the story of the movie along with Hari & Ashishor Solomon.
With this movie, Prakash Raj is coming back as a villain after so many years and it is worth watching the duo of Vijay and Prakash in opposite roles.
Varisu movie is going to clash with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu in the cinemas. Vijay’s Beast movie was also released in a clash with KGF Chapter 2 but in spite of the clash, it collects a very good amount of money.
Varisu movie is a Tamil language family, drama, and action movie. It will also release in Hindi and other regional languages as well in dubbed versions.

Varisu is the story of Vijay Rajendran who is living his life happily. But the story turns around after the death of his foster father.
After the death of his foster father, he became the owner of his multi-billionaire net worth. R. Sarathkumar is playing the role of Vijay’s father and Jaysudha is playing the role of Vijay’s mother. Shaam and Shrikanth are playing the role of Vijay’s brothers.

The movie is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banners of Shri Venkateswara Creations and PVP cinema. The movie is costlier than Thalapathy’s previous release Beast.
The movie is made under a budget of 200 crore rupees which is 50 crores higher than the Beast. As per some media houses, it is said that Vijay charged around 80 crore rupees for the movie.
Nowadays movie covers all the production expenses by selling theatrical right, music rights, OTT rights, etc. That’s why production companies are investing huge amount of money in actors who has a huge fan following.
